On our company's Moodle site, we are having a problem where the spacing between the answer bubble and answer choice in a multiple choice question in a lesson is both too big and inconsistent.

The site is using Moodle 1.9.12
We are using jsMath for our Mathematics. (The problem still persists even when jsMath is disabled)
