Hi everyone, we have a moodle install on windows 2003
we are using moodle 1.9.9, PHP 5.2.9, MYSQL 5.1.33, Apache 2.2.11
Moodle is installed under ESX4 as a single vm, all is working fine and performance is pretty good, i have just created a SAN and would like to have the moodle database on the SAN and explore the possibility of using multiple web server front ends (2 servers on different ESX servers) that connect to the 1 SAN based moodle database I'm thinking this will increase performance (database on another server/SAN) and give me some form of load balance (more than 1 web-server) as well as allowing me to easily backup the moodle database.
Any ideas on how/where to start, anyone done this and have a guide?
