I am wondering how auto embedding Google Docs would work for things like online text.  If a student were to embed a doc to submit an online text assignment, he/she would be able to circumvent the due date.  The teacher would never be able to cut off editing.  The only way a teacher would know if the student revised after the due date is to have access to revision history.  That would only be available if the document were shared.
