I'm wondering if anyone has experience of running Moodle courses where:
- There are multiple start times throughout the year (say, once a month)
- There is an overal (generous) time limit, but students can progress at their own pace
- Students with different start times will be on the same module and share discussions & group activities of that module only (as they are likely to move on at different times)
This isn't a typical educational set up, which are geared to fixed annual schedules. Our offering will be almost exclusively on-line.
Has anyone tried this (someonemust have done!)?
What were to outcomes, successes, and problems?
Thank you in anticipation of your replies.
