Moodle Partner NetSpot have recently announced an innovation fund of 200,000 AUD to sustain early stage eLearning innovations from the tertiary education sector in Australia.

The funding will be used to incorporate selected technologies into Moodle through integrations, or within the Moodle core code, with the aim of sustainability via the Moodle ecosystem.

Moodle has been adopted enterprise-wide by more than one third of all Australian Universities to-date, with NetSpot providing support for many of them.

According to Allan Christie, Founder and Managing Director of NetSpot, "eLearning has been a passion of mine for 25 years and I am delighted that NetSpot has grown to the point that it is able to support innovations in the Higher Education setting that will provide sustainable benefits for all."
