Hi Richard,
you all ready have this theme. It's Cafelite (Moodle 2.0 version) with no header or background images. But other than that it the same theme. The only difference is that I gave #page-content a solid colour background. The navebar is an idea from Skyhigh.
I was actually trying to convert a FREE CSS template, but ended up with what I have now, a very simple layout which works quite efficiently, and in IE7 at that! LOL
I'll send you the CSS Template to play with! LOL
