This survey at Carleton University in Canada came to me today. It is actually pretty interesting, and confirms my personal perceptions. I don't know how long it is going to be there, and I am not sure if anyone else has posted this, at least not that I could see, but it is worth posting.

The graphs were revealing, particularly about how close some of these things are, and how different people see them. Taking the comments of the students on board, this means that, hopefully, there will be some advances made in meeting there complaints. On the other hand, the instructors comments about the gradebook echo a lot of other comments made here. I know it is a hugely complex thing, but over time, hopefully, better designs will improve the response times, navigation and bulk handling issues.

Thanks Colin. I added the survey to the Moodle Buzz.

And I then saw reference to this item. Flinders University, in my home town, of which I am a graduate btw but that has nothing to do with this, had some months back made the decision to switch to Moodle. Read about it here, on their own website. (I must admit a tear came to my eye, particularly when I realised they were using ColdFusion..big grin ) The site is a review of their evaluation process, very interesting for anyone considering a change in LMS.
