I have created a jquiz where the user can redo a specific multiple choice or multiple answer until it is correct and there score is just reduced in relation number of attempts. In the multiple answer excercies they click the "Check-button" to see if it is correct where as they in the mc exercises get feedback once they have chosen an option.
Here is what I would like to do:
Prevent the user from going to the next exercise until the actual exercise is correct no matter how many attempts they use.
In other words, can I remove the "Next button" and make Moodle proceed to the next exercise automatically when an exercise is 100% correct or make the "Next button" appear upon a 100% correct answer only.
I suggest you administer your JQuiz using the QuizPort module (as opposed to the HotPot module) and set the QuizPort output format to "JQuiz auto-advance" output format.
The "JQuiz auto-advance" output format will remove the question navigation buttons, "<=" and "=>", and the numeric progress readout, "1 / 10", and replace them with a progress bar, made up of colored dots, which shows which questions have been completed so far. When one question is finished, the next question will be displayed automatically.
Thanks a lot; I will definately try the proposed solution. I take it, that the quiz port module is avaiable for Moodle 2.x
QuizPort is only for Moodle 1.x. It will be replaced by the TaskChain module in Moodle 2.x. The development of TaskChain is underway. I expect a preliminary version if TaskChain to be available in September - this year
