I have to import 3 courses that another organization gave to me. They are 1.9 V courses. So I am trying to install them into a Moodle 1.9. However, when I do not only are the images appearing as broken but I don't see the images listed in the mdl_resource table or when I search for them I don't see them in any moodle directory--only the original zip file. So I am confused as to why my images won't import. All other resources appear (e.g. html pages, quizzes, etc).
Additionally, I have read the forum fix for image URLs. I opened the moodle.xml file and updated all the original www.example.com's to $@FILEPHP etc.
Lastly, if I restore this course on a Windows machine I see the images. But it has to be on a Linux machine because that is where my Moodle 2.0.2 is and I need to then upgrade this 1.9 Moodle after I import these courses so that they can be converted to my Moodle 2.0 (which is what I read had to be done). We have Moodle 2.0 but the courses were Moodle 1.9
