I've tried to setup a Moodle 2 hub following the instructions on http://docs.moodle.org/20/en/Hub_administration however it fails on my test system. You can't register any servers with the hub server.

Can somebody help?

I've turned off the firewalls, installed on different machines to no avail. However, all the machine are on the same subnet as the hub server - is it the case that the servers need to be on different subnets for this to work?

Assuming that you can reach the hub in a browser and that protocols have been correctly set.   You have most likely set is as a Private hub and forgotten to fill in the password field in the setup page.

You should be able to see you hub from the community search block and search it.

Sorry  for the long time to reply. The upgrade seems to have worked and I have two Moodle connected to a Hub server now problem.
