I have a question multiple choice...there are 6 possible answers....I would like a student to only be able to select 3 of these maximum, is it possible to limit this?
In the general settings of the MC question, it asks if you wish to have one answer or multiple answers. Choose multiple answers and award each correct answer 33.33% of the total point score. Hope this helps
Thanks for that I have already done that...but it still allows a student to select 6 answers if they want....
I think there is a plugin that allows you to create a multichoice-multianswer "All or Nothing" type of question. In other words, if the learners don't select precisely the answers they are expected to, they get a zero, even though they might have selected 2 out of the 3 correct answers. It's not ideal - but it might be closer to what you are looking for. I have never used this type of question, so - no personal endorsement.
