Hostgator vs Siteground vs Keytomoodle, Any opinion?

Am working on a project for 4000 students, most likely will choose one of these hosting providers.

Does anyone have good recommendation or serious warning? Keytomoodle offers Moodle support as well, did anyone used them before?

Hi

Did you see this http://docs.moodle.org/en/Finding_and_Selecting_A_Web_Host ?

Otherwise go through all the initial pointers given in the introduction, specially the "Performance" documentation and the "'Using Moodle' advanced search facility".

P.S. I see, this the follow up of Q2 in http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=177227

Hi Jack,

I wonder if you found a solution to this? I am using hostgator and I fear it might be slow. I am not sure what to do about it. My first testuser took a course with 20 ten minute videos. One of the videos just did not load. He eventually went on to the next. Usually it works great and fast. But sometimes it doesnt. I don't know if this will be a problem when many users are online at the same time? (I am assuming it is the server.)

Thanks for bringing it up.

Best,

simon
