Hello Forum,

I'm hoping someone can help me figure out how to do what I'm trying to do. I think I'm having a catagories issue.

I've got 4 PDF modules, each with a quiz that must be passed with a 70% or better.

Each quiz has 10 questions. Each quiz pulls from its own pool of questions. The questions end up being in the catagory which is already in the drop down box that coincides with the name of the quiz I'm working on. I'm not creating a custom catagory.

The problem is these catagories dissapear when I start working on the new comprehensive quiz. I'm trying to but together a comprehensive exam that pulls from all the different catagories.

To complicate matters, students are currently in the process of taking these quizes, so I'm afraid to change anything for fear half the class wont be able to take the same quiz that half the class has already taken.

It's self paced. Here's the way I've got it set up. 

2 pools have 40 questions

2 pools have 25 questions

The comprehensive exam should have 50 questions.

15 random questions from pool 1, 15 random question from pool 2, 10 random questions from pool 3 and 10 random questions from pool 4.

How do I create the comprehensive exam using the catagories I put the questions in?

If I change the catagory of a particular quiz pool, will that dork up the quiz for people who haven't taken it yet?

How should I set this up in the future to avoid this problem in the future?
