Hi. In Moodle 1.9, is it possible to setup a quiz so that a student receives a 10 for attempting it and a 0 for not attempting it (versus having individual questions graded)? Thanks in advance!

After creating the quiz and adding all the questions to it, I would create an additional MC question that just says "Thank you for taking this quiz. Answer A to receive full credit" and add it at the end of the quiz. In the Edit tab where you add/remove questions to the quiz, you can then change all the questions default grade to zero. Make the additional question mentioned above worth 10 points so it is the only question worth any points. This way if a student never takes the quiz, they will not get credit and if they take quiz and answer additional question right they will get 10 points. If they take quiz and answer last question wrong, then they won't get points though. But in that case they didn't follow simple instructions so do you really want to give them credit anyway? smile
