Importing into a Book Module

When I'm creating a book, there is an option to import HTML pages. What format do these pages need to be in?

I have several Word docs that we'd like to put into charpters in a book module. Is there a good way to convert these docs to the proper format?

Thanks

From Word "save as" an html doc.  Then you can import into book.  approve

Thanks Tom
What I did was take it into OpenOffice and then Send>As HTML and it created an HTML page for each Heading1.
I uploaded all the files into a folder.
Then imported the whole folder into a Book.

I do need to go back and do some reformatting in Word to make the conversion a little cleaner, but it should work great and save a lot of time.

Thanks

I have been having trouble getting relative page links to work in moodle. May pages that I have created have images etc in  a subfolder, but these don't seem to work. I think it is a server problem, but I can't get these html pages to show properly.

Never mind. After posting that, I played around a little and figured it out.  It works great.

Thanks
