I have created a j match exercice. Under create web page, I chose standart as I did not want a drag/ drop exercice. I open it and it was excatly what I wanted.
However when I loaded it on the moodlle website at school, the format changed and it has become a drag/ drop exercice.

Which version of Moodle are you using?
Are you presenting it in Moode throught the Hot Potatoes Quiz module? If so, are you choosing the .htm file or the .jmt file? If you choose the .htm file it should respect your choices.

And if you are using the jmt file, you need to set the "Navigation" setting to "v6" (see screenshot)
