You can print the whole book and its chapters which can be done within the 'Settings' block within Moodle 2, as shown below.
I also have a question about printing...When we go to print either a chapter or the whole book our text formatting seems to wiped and resides right next to the images and tables, as shown below.
As you can see we have changed the font for printing but do not know how we can achieve space between the images/tables and the text.

We worked around this, just entered an extra cell between the image and cell which works.
