When we create a new Forum and put in the 'forum introduction' text it types in and looks like its aligned to the left hand side of the page but when it posts it changes to centre alignment. If we manually select all text and click on the left align button in the text editor it will save it that way but what we want to do is change the default settings for all new Forum post introductions to be left aligned. I'm new to Moodle so need simple and clear instructions if someone has them to share.

We are running Moodle version 1.9.7
