In Moodle 2.0.2 I would like to give all visitors read-only access to a glossary on the front page. In Moodle 1.9 this happened automaticall. Now, users are forced to log-in. I cannot find any permissions that are different from 1.9.

Please, advise!

Hi Pieter,

Have you enabled autologinguests (in Site administration > Users > Permissions > User policies)? As far as I know it's the same in Moodle 2.0 as in 1.9.

Thank you, Helen. Unfortunately it did not help. Nevertheless, in the meantime, I found the solution:

Even if you have set autologinguests ON, you still have to set the guest-login-button to visible. Only then the autologinguests works correctly.
