Hello.
I have an upcoming task where I will need update a course to a new version (new content) by restoring the new course over the existing one.
The new course contains all of the activitiesm resources, etc., but with some new activities as well.
Now, I'm pretty sure that if I restore the new course over the exisiting one, all of the role assignments will be uneffected, but all generated user data (quiz attempts, assignments, etc.) will be lost. Is this correct?
My ultimate question is, is there a way I can restore the new course over the old course without losing any of the existing user data?
If it isn't possible, then I may have to manually add in the new resources/activities, etc., but I'd like to avoid that process if possible.
