In that case all of your courses will have gone (assuming that the database doesn't exist any more).
A good thing to do is to run a course backup for each course before you do anything drastic...then you can restore them individually if anything goes wrong. You have to be a Moodle admin to be able to do this.
(Backup icon in the admin menu of each course).
