I am intrigued by the workshop resource, but am hitting a brick wall in terms of understanding it. I saw that you can include rubrics which made me think that it would be a solution to my desire to put rubrics online and evaluate students work with them so that the grades and comments could be included in the moodle class. It seems as though the workshop module is intended more for peer editing. I could not figure out how as a teacher to enter grades in my rubric or comments.
So, I think my question is...
Can I use a workshop to setup rubrics for students to view and for me as a teacher to use as an evaluative tool, or is there a better option?
If there is not, do others agree that a 'rubric' tool, whereby teachers could set up the rubric with the different criteria, weights, grading options, and a place for feedback would be valuable? For me it would be amazing. All of my evaluation takes place through rubrics of projects. I would LOVE for students to upload their project or provide a link to their project and then complete a rubric that students can view online (complete with the grade entered, etc.)
Any thoughts on this?
