I am using the PayPal enrollment plugin.
I have this problem.
Students A B C D & E enrol and pay for course 1.
Course 2 is then created that also requires payment.
Student F enrols and pays for course.
The issue is that students A B C D & E have also be given access to Course 2 but have not paid for it.
Is anyone else having this issue and how can it be fixed.
I am using Moodle 1.9.9

How are your users assigned? If you look at site admin>users>permissions>assign system roles can you check you have no students there - and also can you check in site admin>users>permissions>user policies that the default role is authenticated user and not student? Both those allow students automatically into courses. Also - do you have passwords(enrolment keys) on your courses?
I go with Mary on this one. !!!You need a enrolment key on every course!!! This stops the unwanted wandering in.
If Pay Pal is you primary method of enrolment then as soon as notification is received from PP they are automatically enroled in the course they paid for.

The default course enrolment is "self enrolment." If you disable that then no key is needed. You then have are left with manual enrol or a paid enrol. Assuming that Mnet is not yet in use. By putting a course cost on you force the enrolment to paid. Thus if every course has $$ on it, pay up to enter.
Any registered user can cruise the catogorys. It is the enrolment method that enforces payment policy. Irrespective of how they arrive.
