Moodle 1.4.2.
A teacher here is developing a new quiz containing short answers, but does not know exactly what kind of answers he will get. So he would like to open completed quizzes and change the marks. Is this possible?

Changing marks by hand is not currently possible but the feature is in development, see http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=15960#78405. I would expect this to become available in the development version of Moodle 1.5 in a matter of weeks.
You could use our essay question type for Moodle quiz, located in CVS/contrib for this for now.
