We're setting up Moodle 2.0 using a CSV file to load users into the system and an external database to handle enrollments.
This seems to work fine, except for one hitch.
When an instructor logs in and looks at his or her roster of students, only those students who have already logged in appear on the roster. If a student hasn't logged in, the student doesn't appear on the list of participants. As soon as the student logs in, then he or she shows up on the roster for that course.
Is that the correct behavior when using bulk enrollments?
Our instructors seem to prefer having all the enrolled students appear on the roster whether or not they've logged in.
Is that possible?
Thanks for any clues and/or advice.
