I have discovered in my course that when I make comments on essays in the Quiz or Lesson module, students don't see it. All they see is the score. In the Assignment module they can see a short comment such as "Good job" but not if you wanted to make a longer comment on their work. Is there a setting I am missing? Students want that kind of feedback. For example, in Quizzes I have a short answer activity. I went through and graded their sentences and made a comment. The student only sees the grade, no comment. This really seems to be a problem.
