Hi Elena,

This is very useful, but I've found a scenario where it doesn't work and I wonder if anyone else has encountered similar or found a solution?

Our enrolments are via an external database (a materialised view from student records), and we don't have the edit functionality in this enrolment method that exists for manually enrolled students.

We have several courses where overseas students are enrolled on the same course as home students through the student records system, but there is a need to deny access to overseas students whilst not disabling their access to other courses or changing their enrolment data in student records.

Suspending them from individual courses would be ideal but I can't see a way of doing this. There is obviously the option of putting students into groups and then forcing activities to be released only to the 'home' groups, but excluding students from the course would be a far better way of accomplishing this as far as the course leaders are concerned.
