I have done a few searches for this topic; but, I'm not sure what to call it so I'm not getting many hits.
Basically, I have four audiences who will use the system.
I would like for a student to come to the site, register, and be placed into a certain access "bucket." They might get to see courses A, B and C.
The next user would come and register and might see courses A, C and G.
What is this called? I know I can create a role for each user or I can create a course with a key. But the role seems to broad and the course key seems too specific.
So two questions:
1) where do these user "levels" exist? as roles? as courses with keys? as some other plugin that allows user groups?
2) do I use keys? do I use a specific URL they come to the system through? or ?
Any help in how to do this or what to search on would be great. Thank you!!
