Copying a Backed-up Quizport :

This is a bit of help If you only want to backup and copy ONE QZPRT to another course :

1 select backup in you original course

2 backup nothing but the Quizport you want (select none at the top of the selection page, then pick your choice) do not select anything else. Say NO to all other proposal especially course and site files

3 Store that file away (HD), upload it in the course you want it to work in _wherever in the Files section_ and choose “restore”.

4 select the folder in which the actual exercise files and media files were located in you original course, (hopefully they are in the same folder)

5 make a zip archive of all this

6 copy this zip file at the same level in you new course (i.e. if the folder was at root level, copy it there. If it was within a “Quizports” folder at root level , make a “quizports” folder at the same level in your receiving course.

7 From the main page of your receiving course choose your qzprt activity that is now visible (it probably does not work at this stage) and select “modify”

8 Select the icon that allows to change the first file’s location in you qzprt grid and re-choose the file (it’s already the right one but for some reason it needs this confirmation).

That’s it: “tada”.
