We've finally finished the WeBWorK module (the new more more modular interface to the symbolic math. homework generating software from the U. of Rochester). I'll monitor it for a week or two in our summer classes:  https://webwork.math.ohio-state.edu/moodle_su03/course/view.php?id=2 (click on "Login as a Guest" or use doe.123 as username and password) before making it publicly available.

Martin, do you want to add it to the contrib section of the cvs?

Also I gather from looking at http://moodle.org/bugs/ that the new gradebook feature is projected for release in version 1.1 in September.  Am I correct?  If so, will it have an API for an external program to update grades?  Or will I need to continue using the local web robot hack to do the updates?

Hi, Zig.

Great, yes, this definitely belongs in contrib ... if you let me know your CVS account (ie Sourceforge username) then I can set it up so you can read/write to it).

The features in 1.1 are not fixed and will change according to priorities (eg sponsors) ... 1.1 will be out in late August regardless of how many features make it in, because that way it will be available in good time before most people start the new school term/semester.

I wouldn't count on the new gradebook stuff just yet ... plan to keep using your hack one more time!

Not a problem. When you do get around to developing the gradebook, please give me some advance notice so I can update my code.
