Looks like a number of us have had troubles with a failed admin install
(see http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=16548 and http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=16400).
Can anyone with a good understanding of moodle's "guts" offer a step by step workaround to manually accomplish what the automated process is failing to do at the admin setup stage?
I am using phpMyAdmin to manage my database on a server hosted by Globat.com. I am working with the latest version of Moodle 1.4+ but have also had failed installs with 1.3.
