This is my first message so let me first thank you all for the big help you all offer in this forum
In Moodle 1.9 i first saved the file in the user's computer and then send it via ftp to the Moodle server (where a FTP server was running). The applet was receiving the user's ID so I could send the file from the user's computer to the Moodle server via this FTP and store it in the right folder. It was pretty simple because each user had a folder where the files he could upload and delete were stored. That way, the Java applet was able to provide the path in which the file should be stored via the FTP.
However, Moodle 2.0 has changed this completelly. The new file picker and private files block look awesome but I now just cant figure out where should I send the file. Private repositories seem to use some kind of internal codes to store the files you upload (moreover, their names are changed when you do that!) so their tracking isnt an easy issue.
Could anyone help me here?
Sorry if this was asked before.
