Or, you could pick a Moodle Partner. I am using crteacher.com, and for $150 per year (just slightly over $12 month), it is working out quite well (and as I understand it, some of the proceeds go back to Moodle to further its development). [Not that I want to disparage DreamHost.com, it sounds like it would be fine, too.]
