If you really meant what you asked, then Anthony Barrow's response is appropriate. Do you really want to use your apple computer as a web server? If not, try an inexpensive web host that provides automatic installation of Moodle such as DreamHost.com.
Purchase a web hosting account for $10.00 per month, and DreamHost will install Moodle on your website for you. That is how I set up my Moodle server.

Or, you could pick a Moodle Partner. I am using crteacher.com, and for $150 per year (just slightly over $12 month), it is working out quite well (and as I understand it, some of the proceeds go back to Moodle to further its development). [Not that I want to disparage DreamHost.com, it sounds like it would be fine, too.]
