Our use case:
We want to survey our students at the end of each training week for their endurance times on physical exercises. We believe the Questionnaire (used as a survey without grades and numerical answers for input of endurance times) is the best answer for this. We use weekly topics format and we want to present a Questionnaire survey to the student at the end of every week's topic for students to enter endurance times.
When we create the Questionnaire survey for week one, we make it private (we only use one course), define two numerical questions, no grading, response type weekly, student can view all responses. This works great. The problem comes when we add a second Questionnaire for week two: we type in the exact same title and description and choose the copy existing option for the first week Questionnaire. It looks the same week to week but when we test it in the second week we only see week two answers and not week one answers.
If we choose weekly response does Moodle really enforce students to wait 7 calendar days before accepting the results? We don't think so, because in our testing (on the same day), we can input and see results for week 2 but week 1 is missing. It seems like Moodle sees these Week 1 -Week 2 Questionnaires as different activities and not appending data.
Can anyone chip in here with advice to get submitted results to append using Questionnaires?
Is there a better way to accomplish progress (endurance times or grade progressions) tracking in Moodle?
Thanks in advance,
