Sorry for not getting back to you sooner (snow day today at school). Yes, this did help. I was able to recover the backup files of my courses, so I am in the process of restoring them to version 1.9.9.
I seem to be having other issues now restoring them, but the issue of not being able to get to the original backups is solved. Thank you for your help, Howard.
