I'm extremely new to the world of LMS's. I have been hired to develop a training program for both in-house use and clients. My company has purchased SumTotal ToolBook and I have been using that to develop our courses. I understand that I am able to upload my courses to Moodle. My question is not techinical in nature, but what I really want to know is if Moodle is effective in a corporate traning environment? We want to track our trainee's, but I won't be developing my courseware using Moodle, I'll be uploading pre-developed courses. Any advice is greatly appreciated and I apologize if I have asked this in the wrong forum.
Is Moodle right for my needs?

Hi Kathryn,
If SupTotal ToolBook will produce a Scorm package I believe it can by uploaded and integrated into Moodle and the trainees' scores will be tracked. I don't use Scorm myself - you'll get a more informed answer in the Scorm forum on Using Moodle.
I know Moodle is widely used in the corporate world but I don't know any details. You might try Moodle for Business Users.
Cheers,
Glenys
