Odp: Cannot skip question in Moodle lesson

Hi, While editing Lesson's settings in Flow control there is an option to set up a number of Maximum number of attempts. Help says:

"This setting specifies the maximum number of attempts allowed for each question. If answered incorrectly repeatedly, when the maximum is reached, the next page of the lesson is displayed."

I have set it to 3 times but the funciton did not work in Matching question page. I tried 5 times and was still at the same quesiton. May be it depends on the question page type or any other settings in Lesson?
