I just realized that link buttons on my Moodle 1.9.9 editor don't work any more: clicking on them, nothing happens... Does anybody have an idea what that could come from ?

PS: I also have the problem now that the editor window is sometimes horribly small (even here, with this Moodle version)
Are you using IE8?
That sounds like this HTMLArea bug

with a functional fix.
Here in moodle.org we have moodle 2 and tinymce and you can use mouse over bottom right corner of editor to drag it bigger - or toggle fullscreen mode from editor toolbar

That's exactly the problem. I just add that that's the case when we modify a forum message (Moodle puts an autimatical link "modified by LINK" - that makes too).

Hallo Mauno and everybody,
Just to tell you that when pasting an URL, you cannot choose to open it in a new window with the editor (same problem: as the link becomes active automatically, the link button doesn't work any more).
