I recently installed Moodle and I don't remember the password used. Is there a--via cPanel--that I can access the site and re-assign or recover my password?

Please help. My class starts in one week.

Advance thanx

Follow this link: http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=29963

You can follow the procedure as stated in the second post (above link) or if you are have installed moodle 2.0 then click on Lost Password? and type your username and email in the corresponding fields.

An email will be sent your account and then you can reset your password... Remember your new password and try to login...

Go  Control Panel -----> MySQL admin ------>your moodle DB ------>mdl_user , find 'admin' and the 'password' which is in MD5 model (eg. bde04ee71e81dc3441a0a258df4b31ac).  Create a new password then use a MD5 coding program transfer your new password into MD5 model, use your new MD5 pwd replaces the old one.
