Role to see everything but not do anything

Hi all,

I'm working on V 1.9.10, and we have need of a role for our learner support assistants.  I need them to be able to see everything on the site, but not get any messages, assignment submission notices, forum post notices ect.  Basically see everything, change nothing, receive nothing.

I'm not bothered about them seeing every course in their myMoodle page though.

I've been racking my head about this for ages.  I've been able to let them see everything without changing anything, but they get all the emails which a teacher or student would get.

Any ideas people?

well you can define a new role named learner support assistants,while defining a new role give him all the read permissions that you want to and prohibit all the write/edit permissions.after that create the accounts of the support assistants and add them to that role.That will definitely solve your problem.be sure to prohibit him from recieving any mail notifications(prohibit the notification options).
