Hi - Ontario seems to be really unique in this whole assessment area, with the use of categories as outlined in previous messages. It does take a little while to grapple with the concept (I still have to pause and think it through) and it's especially complex when software doesn't have the capability built-in. And I surmise it's one of the reasons Moodle has not penetrated more into High Schools in Ontario. ( Yet a very costly competitor, Desire to Learn, whose head office is in the heartland of Ontario in Kitchener, suffers from the same limitation.) Just to say, addressing these Ontario categories ("T/I", "K/U", "App","Comm") would be a big step forward. I'll see what possible with the multiple categories plug-in.
