I always like to suggest that new users look at the online Moodle documentation. Teacher documentation is place to get an over view. Or my favorite is Getting started for teachers that puts many Moodle features in a context. By posting in this forum, we assume you want to know more about the Certificate module. Those 3 links should help.
Otherwise some more information about what you want is needed. You sort of said "I am new to cars, help."
