I'm  back.

I was able to create a user id for myself but couldn't get the confirmation email sent out so I edited the record in phpMyAdmin so now I can at least logon.

Then I looked up the INSERT INTO function on the MySQL website and entered a record into the "user_admins" table with id=1 and userid matching my record in "user".

Tried to get into the moodle admin and came up with a 500 error.

Edited my "user_admin" record to id=0 in case that was the record for THE administrator but with the same result.

Any comments?
