How about a low overhead feature limited fork? Mini Moodle?

How about a low overhead feature limited fork? Mini Moodle?

Moodle 2.0 has become very large and resource intensive meeting the needs of power users. When running Moodle on an ARM processor in a wireless device off a SD chip is very usefull but can never be upgraded to 2.0.

With the awsome code modilarity of Moodle, maybe me and a few others could volunteer to maintain a core install that leaves off the cacheing and has limited features and function but run nicely on embeded devices etc... ? Any interest?
