I have a problem with the reports in the Attendance Module. We need to view the weekly attendance, and our weeks here run from Monday to Friday. I've tried looking everywhere and I can't figure out why but attendance always starts the week from Thursday and goes to Wednesday. See this image:
In Moodle our week starts on the default (Sunday) and the calendars display starting from Sunday. Everything else follows that setting, except Attendance. This makes retrieving the data from Attendance very painful for the poor girl who has to do it, and I don't understand why this happens. When I "add sessions" to a class, the "Session Days" go from Sunday to Saturday.
I thought maybe Attendance starts the week by whichever day the course is created on, but that doesn't seem to make a difference.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to force the reports to follow the Moodle setting?
A second question, we added 'username' to the report display - which is "Student Number" in the image above - but there is no option to sort by this category. Is that possible to be done?
