We regularly use the advanced uploading of files module for our learners to submit an achievement file for tutor feedback. In one of our courses, the function to upload the file again has disappeared. When the learner goes to try and submit the file, they can only see their previous attempt and the comments from the tutor.
Any help is much appreciated.

Hi Anna,
Try checking those 3 settings for the assignment:
1) Maximum number of uploaded files - it should be greater than 1
2) Is there a due date on the assignment and do you prevent late submissions?
(Students will see "No further submissions are allowed.")
3) Do you have"Enable Send for marking" set to Yes?
If so, you students probably clicked 'Send for marking' button, therefore they will not be able to submit more files. Instructor can revert student submission to draft status, by going to the assignment grading interface, clicking Update link near some particular student and clicking 'Revert to Draft' button there.
