Moodle removes teachers from courses

Hello,

Where is the setting to disable Moodle removing a teacher from their course if they don't access it in a specified time period?

We would like our teachers to remain in their courses so we don't have to keep adding them back in when they are on trimesters and don't access their courses all the time.

We can find no setting to change that rule.

Any help is appreciated!

Thank you!

Anne

Hi there. You will find it in site admin>server >cleanup

Thank you! That says for students though and not teachers. I change that setting and it doesn't hold.

I'll try again.

Hi!

In Website Administraion->Server->Cleanup, you have to set deleteincompleteusers to "Never" otherwise each user of a course will be deleted after a defined period, if he hasn't  visited the course in the defined period. If you set a period and you have "ownerless" courses, you have to set the teacher back to their courses with the role assignment in the administration-block of the course. This can be a big detective work to do!

Cheers,

Monica

I didn't only  mean the deletincompleteusers but the longtimenosee as well!

Set longtimenosee to "Never"!
