I use the revert to draft rather frequently and have found that while Moodle saves it upon the initial reversion, but then deletes the reversion and the file is then final again, so I have to go in and revert it again when the students contact me that they can't get to their file. This does not happen to all files, our suspicion is that if the reverted file is not accessed within a certain amount of time after the reversion it is then put back to the final non accessible submission.
Any ideas as to what is going on? We are wondering if this has anything to do with our nightly back ups that are set.
