I've had some serious issues with playing large flv videos using the FLV player included with Moodle's Mediaplugin. I discovered Flowplayer today, and have tried using that in some activities by adding the JS for it to my header.html and then following its basic installation steps (including a <a> tag with an id of "player", calling the flowplayer() function in inline JS).
However, it would be great if I didn't need to do this manually, since I have over a hundred activities to update. Is there an integration between Flowplayer and Mediaplugin or is there another filter module that would provide this?
It looks like what Mediaplugin does is regex matching and substitution in the mediaplugin_filter_flv_callback() function. I could probably code the modifications necessary to make this work for Flowplayer, but I would like to avoid hacking the module if a cleaner solution is available.
